The Oklahoma Small Business Group (OKSBG) is a consortium of small, Oklahoma businesses that have partnered to pursue federal, state, and commercial business opportunities. The OKSBG includes SBA 8(a) certified, Woman-Owned (WOSB), HubZone, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SVDOB) businesses.
The OKSBG was started by Leader Communications Incorporated (LCI) as a smart way to increase the number and types of business opportunities we can pursue while helping our partners increase their opportunities and capabilities.
The goal of the OKSBG is to increase the number and types of federal, state, local, and commercial opportunities/contracts awarded to and performed by Oklahoma small businesses.
Members of the OKSBG offer a wide range core capabilities and past performance. The OKSBG reaches state-wide and provides networking and training opportunities, as well as information on business opportunities—increasing each member’s knowledge of federal, state, and commercial business opportunities. OKSBG members are also members of small business programs, including:
- SBA 8(a)
- Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB)
- Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB)
- Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB)
- HubZone
The benefits of the OKSBG offer significant value to not only OKSBG members but also customers--including federal, state, and local government agencies and large businesses. For customers, the OKSBG provides the ability for members to offer a wider range of services than most individual small businesses can provide. For members, the OKSBG provides a wealth of resources and experience to draw upon, while giving members the opportunity to grow into other service areas that are not within their current core.
